What We Believe
The foundation of Come Over & Help is the Bible, the inspired, inerrant and authoritative Word of God. We believe that the Three Forms of Unity (Heidelberg Catechism, Canons of Dordt, Belgic Confession) and the Westminster Standards provide us with accurate and trustworthy formulations of the truths and principles of God's Word.
We confess with the church of all ages, the twelve articles of our undoubted Christian faith:
We believe in God the Father, Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary:
Suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead and buried: He descended into hell:
The third day He rose again from the dead:
He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:
From there He shall come to judge the living and the dead:
We believe in the Holy Spirit:
We believe in the holy catholic or universal church: the communion of saints:
The forgiveness of sins:
The resurrection of the body:
And the life everlasting.
